Canada Welcomes Newest UNESCO World Heritage Site in Red Bay, Labrador

The Cruise Association of Newfoundland and Labrador wishes to extend its warm congratulations to the Red Bay Basque Whaling Station in Labrador on its inscription on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) World Heritage List. It is the first World Heritage Site in Labrador, the third in the province (along with Gros Morne National Park and L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site) and the 17th site in Canada.
